Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Global Gardens. Being in the school and experiencing the students is the best way to see the true impact of the program. We hope you will join us.

Ways to Volunteer:

  1. Volunteer your time during the Global Garden after school program any day of the week from 3:00-5:00.
  2. Check thrift stores and garage sales for things to use in the garden, i.e. makeshift trellises, etc.
  3. Provide snack for community days.
  4. Pick up coffee grounds and compostables from local coffee shops and restaurants and deliver materials to the garden.
  5. Become a Global Gardens mentor and work one-on-one with a student.
  6. Adopt a class (PreK-5th grade) and assist them with their garden plot.
  7. Help with administrative needs, mailings, fundraising, etc.
  8. Donate funds or materials.
